As President since 1999, John has brought vision, stability and dedication to Magnus. Having been with Magnus since 1980, John progressed through the company’s engineering career path from new product development to spearheading the transition of the company’s manufacturing process to its current robotic environment.
John has lead the company through numerous advancements, including a Six Sigma certification and ISO 2000 certification. He continues to advance the company through building a unique team of industry professionals, innovation in product development, and manufacturing upgrades and training.

Dave’s primary focus is bringing together partnerships, acquisitions and new products to Magnus Farley. He joined Magnus after a successful 32-year career with the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors where he served as North American Sales Manager and was responsible for the development of marketing and sales strategy. Dave’s strong commercial, customer service and technical product background make him a great asset to Magnus.

As a member of the team since 2002, Dave Lundquist has fulfilled responsibilities in sales administration and transportation support. He currently serves as regional sales manager for the shortline and regional railroads in the northwest. In addition, Dave ensures all logistical requirements are met through his role as Transportation Manager. Prior to joining Magnus, Dave worked in the automotive industry in charge of fleet management and purchasing. Dave has achieved his Six Sigma Green Belt Certification and is a member of the Institute for Supply Management.

Bob Foster’s career spans nearly 30 years at General Electric Aircraft Engines and Transportation Systems (GETS) where he was responsible for the design of aircraft engine components and oversaw the mechanical design of traction systems for locomotive and off-road highway trucks.

Paul Bien joined Magnus in 2004 and is responsible for new product development as well as Magnus’s consultative services to its clients. He is currently leading the Magnus product improvement teams and is the holder of several patents, including AC traction motor patents.
Paul originally started his career with the Electro-Motive Division of General Motors and had primary design responsibility for traction motor support bearings. Today he continues his innovative work for Magnus.

During his 20 years with Magnus, Charlie has progressed through the company with increased responsibility as Office Manager, and eventually as Southeastern Regional Sales Representative for all Class 1's, Shortlines and car builders in the southeast.
Charlie is responsible for account management with Norfolk Southern, CSXT, Florida East Coast and others.

As a member of Magnus since 2004, David is responsible for administering and maintaining Magnus' ISO 9001 system. He played an instrumental role in Magnus' recertification for of the ISO 9001-2000. David came to Magnus after a long career as a quality control inspector and a quality assurance manager.
